Next Home Group session begins September, 2017
Life’s biggest questions are being asked all around you. Are you hearing the questions? Are you ready for conversations?
Everyday Questions is RZIM’s new, nine-week small group curriculum designed to equip Christians in evangelism. The video sessions are all less than thirty minutes and the accompanying discussion guides will lead your group in conversations about how to respond to people around you who are looking for answers.
Collaboratively developed with input from the senior pastor of a growing evangelical church, Everyday Questions will prepare your ministry’s small groups to faithfully love your neighbors and share the gospel in today’s complex and ever-changing world. We’ve done the research for you and compiled it into an easy-to-use, interactive curriculum so that pastors and small group or ministry leaders can give their energy and time to investing in their people.
One of the positive characteristics most reported about Ascension by visitors is it’s “friendly and welcoming atmosphere.” Hospitality and connectivity are vital to a thriving church. However, as the church grows, making and keeping close relationships becomes more of a challenge.
This is why Home Groups are so important to a church our size! A Home Group is a group of 8-12 people which meets in the comfort of someone’s home on a weekly basis. The focus of the group is to grow in faith with our Lord and in relationship with one another while taking part in a common teaching.
A Home Group is also a great way to invite people into Christian relationship without challenges that Sunday mornings can bring. Very often people can be uncomfortable with a church atmosphere until they come to know others and a Home Group is the perfect place to start.
